Santigold is at it again and has just dropped a high energy track “Banshee” as a precursor to her forthcoming album 99¢. The Electronic/R&B/Rapper is know for her elevating live performances and engaging crowds to rocking bodies and waving hands in the air. Born in Philly, her style is urban and raw. The sound is catchy, danceable and covers a broad spectrum of genres in Santigold’s musical influence. Past releases of the self titled debut album Santigold and sophomore album Master of My Make-Believe hold notes of R&B, reggae, rap, 80’s rock and pop.
The genre-bending style is backed well in newly released singles “Can’t Get Enough Of Myself”, “Chasing Shadows”, “Who Be Lovin’ Me” and yesterdays drop of “Banshee”. Supporting the release of 99¢, Santigold will embark on an extensive Spring Tour starting in March and will grace the stages of venues such as The Hollywood Palladium in L.A., The Ogden Theatre in Denver, Concord Music Hall in Chicago, Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and all points in between. Get little taste of 99¢ as you take a bite out of “Banshee”.
