Shaky Knees Music Festival has just announced their schedule for this year’s fest, taking place in Atlanta, Georgia at Central Park from May 8th through May 10th. The Shaky Knees 2015 lineup is boasting some serious talent including Wilco, Pixies, The Avett Brothers, The Strokes, Tame impala, Social Distortion, Mastodon, Ryan Adams, Neutral Milk Hotel, Brand New, Old Crow Medicine Show and many more.
The Skaky Knees lineup is massive at this festival and not specifically tailored to any distinct genre of music, making it very accessible to a wide variety of music fans. Shaky Knees will also offer late night shows spanning a surplus of locations all around Atlanta. James Blake is having a kick-off party at Terminal West, although that show is unfortunately already sold out.
The following night there will be a bunch of artists with official after parties. Portugal The Man will take the Heaven Stage at Masquerade, where as …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead will occupy the Purgatory Stage and The Dead Milkmen Will take the Hell Stage. There are even more shows taking place Friday night at The Earl, The Loft, Vynil and Terminal West. All of these venues will also host acts Saturday night, most notably Built To Spill at The Earl. All of the late night shows are not included in the ticket price of the festival itself, but most shows are priced at a very reasonable $16 to $18 dollars.
Shaky Knees does not offer onsite camping, but there are many hotels in vicinity of the festival that can be purchased at reasonable prices. Single Day tickets for Shaky Knees Music Festival are going for $99, where 3-Day Passes are $215. VIP Single Days are going run you $225 and 3-Day’s are $599. VIP at Shaky Knees is on par with most other festivals; offering the most common amenities such as private viewing areas, private bathrooms, free drink vouchers and more.
