The epic European snow and music festival, Snowbombing, has announced their migration to the Pacific Northwest! For over 17 years this festival has grown to be the largest and earned the reputation of the most popular of all snow and music festivals in the world.
Held annually in the Tyrollean Alps in Mayrhofn, Austria, Snowbombing draws fans globally to experience the amazement of snow sports and stellar music combined. Due to the increasing popularity of snow festivals, Snowbombing will make its way to The Sun Peaks Resort in British Colombia form April 6thto 10th. This beautiful four-season resort has just expanded its ski zones and is coming off of a record breaking 2015-2016 snow season. Early April is a perfect time to hit these slopes as the weather is notoriously pleasurable and the mountain still holds a considerable amount of snow base.
This is the inaugural event in North America, but Snowbombing producer Broadwick Live has been operating and developing award winning festivals for over fifteen years and teaming up with Coors Lightwill raise the bar higher than ever before. They are proud to present the highest level of entertainment with highlights including sky-high mountain shacks, mystical forests stages, trail-side pool parties, road-block street carnivals, cozy alpine lodges and medieval barns. Over the years, Snowbombing has become famous for its unique performances is surreal settings. Some worthy moments in this festivals history include Kasabian rocking a sunset performance on the top of a mountain, Prodigy awing the crowd in an enchanted forest and fans gathering in a real igloo to dance to epic sounds of Prodigy.
