Thousands have already witnessed Heineken’s brand-new film, The Odyssey, a film that proves that even the average man can come forth when the time is necessary to become legendary. The film follows 20 men (known as the ‘Men of the World’) as they run ramped across a cruise ship as onlookers gawk at the sheer madness on the open waters. Each man demonstrates a unique talent that shows that every individual can be extraordinary at something.
The film points out that each Heineken drinker can make their mark with their binding trait when the time is right. From Conga dancing to banister sliding and diving to doing the limbo, Heineken’s Men of the World carry the bar when it comes to a multitude of uncommon talents colliding in one place. A professional bird caller is even mixed with the bunch, and one man that seemed to be able to walk on water.
For the very first time, instead of hiring actors Heineken chose to hire ordinary men with extraordinary talents. Some viewers were skeptical about these so-called ordinary men. Due to the amount of criticism the film received for depicting talents that seem like they just couldn’t be done, Heineken set forth to prove those that are unbelievers of the legendary status that these men showcased by unveiling clips of a casting call of sorts in The Odyssey PR Film. Heineken did an excellent job of backing up just how real these legendary abilities really were by examining each member of the cast and their talents under a spotlight.
The Odyssey and The Odyssey PR Film clearly show us that anybody can take the spotlight when the time is upon us, and although this article is sponsored by Heineken, the film truly inspires people to be bold and seek the moment to rise up and become legendary.
