The final round of artists featured in this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival lineup has been released! This is the 16th year of the festival, taking place on May 27th-29th at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. If you weren’t already looking forward to the annual festival, you will be now because the full Summer Camp lineup has been released.
This year, the Everyone Orchestra will be doing a special set, featuring artists like Kyle Hollingsworth (String Cheese Incident), Marc Brownstein (Disco Biscuits), Al Schnier (moe.), Tom Hamilton (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and American Babies) and more.
Summer Camp is known for its huge, pristine campgrounds and eclectic artists, who this year, include STS9, Big GRiZmatik (Big Gigantic + GRiZ + Gramatik), Excision, The Roots, Thievery Corporation, Lotus, Mudcrutch (Mike Campbell, Torn Leadon, Randall Marsh, Benmont Tench and Tom Petty), Break Science, Emancipator, Lettuce, George Clinton & P-Funk, NGTMRE, SNAILS and more. Plus, Bionik, Blake Gardener & The Farmers, Blastfome, Space Words, Love Canon, The Easy Riders, Fahrenheit & Celsius, Electric Orange Peel, Echo Base Quartet, Spundose, Tenth Mountain Division and many others.
In total, the Summer Camp Music Festival 2016 lineup includes more than 120 artists, performing on a total of 8 stages. Plus, moe. and Umphrey’s McGee are set to perform all three days. As if the music wasn’t enough, ticket-holders can camp on-site, attend musician workshops, enjoy late night shows, access a non-profit village, check-out arts & crafts, vendors, and, partake of some great food and beverages.
