“There’s no place like home…!”
The 15th annual Summer Camp Music Festival will return to Three Sisters Park in Chilicothe, IL over Memorial Day Weekend with the biggest lineup yet! Since 2001, Summer Camp has grown immensely in size and stature within the festival scene and offers something for everyone. Although the festival has matured, it still maintains a strong, intimate, ‘family’ like vibe.
Musically, “SCAMP” has taken things to a whole new level this year, with a massive lineup that features over 110 musical guests. The full 2015 lineup is listed below.
Summer Camp strives to ‘Make a Difference.’ The centrally located Soulshine Tent is a “space for collective consciousness” and a place to have “socially-charged conversations” while inspiring fans to make a difference in their own communities. The festival partners with various nonprofits, artists and activists hosting daily discussions, demonstrations, performances, workshops, classes and discussions focused on bettering the world around us.
It is important to note that camping and parking are separated at Summer Camp, and you are not permitted camp next to your vehicle. Be advised you will most likely have to carry your gear. Also, it is vital to plan ahead for weather related issues when packing for Summer Camp (previous years have experienced everything from sun, heat and dust, to mud, rain and heavy winds). Anything goes with mother nature during spring in the Mid-West and it is best to be prepared for whatever she may bring.
The 2015 Summer Camp Music Festival will be held May 22nd – 24th, with an onsite pre-party scheduled to kick off the festival on Thursday, May 21st. Tickets to the Thursday pre-party and late night performances in the Red Barn are all sold separately. GA 3-Day Passes are on sale now, and a limited number of VIP Upgrades, VIP Packages and Primitive RV Passes are also still available. Get your tickets now and start your summer season off right at SCAMP!
