For the festival's 5th installment, curators behind Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida, have stopped at nothing to bring you the event's biggest lineup to date. Without further ado, the initial Suwannee Hulaween lineup includes 3 nights of The String Cheese Incident, plus, Bassnectar, Claude VonStroke, GRiZ, WEEN, The Disco Biscuits, Vince Staples, Run The Jewels, Nick Murphy (aka Chet Faker), Beats Antique, RL Grime, Lettuce, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Shiba San, TOKIMONSTA, FKJ (French Kiwi Juice), Kamasi Washington, Zach Deputy, Benevento / Russo Duo, Manic Focus, Greensky Bluegrass, TAUK, Dumpstafunk and many, many more.
The festival is held at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and is a venue that's been regarded as one of the top locations to host a music festival in the United States. Period. Flooded with lit up trees glowing in the night amongst bountiful amounts of Spanish Moss that captivates thousands of costume-wearing festival-goers, the location is truly like no other. Oh yea, get ready for art installments, galore!
Suwannee Hulaween is put on by Chicago event experts at Silver Wrapper, as well as, production and publicity extraordinaires at Brotherly Love Productions and Infamous PR. One of the festival's lead curators at Silver Wrapper, Michael Harrison Berg, went on to say this about the festival's growth over the years:
“Suwannee Hulaween, our flagship event, turns 5 years old this year and feels like it's finally flowered into a grown up. Between the ever-evolving and diverse musical lineup with a curated blend of Jam, Dance Music, Rock, and Hip Hop, along with with the experiential art experience of the Spirit Lake installation, back dropped by the natural beauty of the Spanish Moss laden oak tree forest at Spirit of the Suwannee, there is no better Halloween party in the world.
Five years ago, we set out to take The String Cheese Incident's annual Halloween bash, and grow it into a full-scale festival. Now, we have the honor of producing an event that we'd personally want to be at. We've watched the process come and go full circle as we've grown together with the most loyal and dedicated fanbase we've ever witnessed in our collective career. For our 5th anniversary in 2017, we plan to level up across the board.”
