Curators of Symbiosis Gathering 2016, taking place September 22-25 at Woodward Reservation Regional Park in Fresno, California, have just announced the complete musical lineup for the next installment of the festival, Family Tree.
Family Tree is just one piece of the overall multifaceted music and arts Symbiosis Gathering 2016 event. It is meant to be a time to celebrate the reunion of families and memories from the past. The complete Symbiosis 2016 lineup includes FKA Twigs, Gramatik, RL Grime, Santigold, Ta-Ku (live), Warpaint, Beats Antique, Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Worthy, Balkan Beat Box, FKJ, Gaslamp Killer, Hundred Waters, Lee Foss, Desert Dwellers (Live Experience), Oh Wonder, Opiuo, Ott & The All-Seeing I, Pan-Pot, Mimosa, Random Rab, Rising Appalachia, Seth Troxler, Shiba San, and many others.
Symbiosis Gathering has been taking place for the past 11 years. The goal of the festival is to give a creative outlet to artists and performers all around the world. It has earned a reputation as a creative hub for artists of all kinds. In the past, there have been aquatic dance parties, a Delorean hovercraft doing donuts in the sky at sunset, terrestrial art installations, as well as, other eye-catching creations littered throughout the festival grounds.
The Woodward Reservation Regional Park is a very intentional part of the overall goal of Symbiosis Gathering. It is meant to fuse with the visual art and music throughout the weekend to broaden the creative experience. Billboard even went as far as to say it is “an ideal location for a festival that celebrated the coming together of people and the elements a central theme to the event.”
