Taylor Swift Answers Young Chicago Girl’s Last Wish

The pop super-starlette, Taylor Swift, recently responded to the wish of a young girl dying of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in Chicago’s southside neighborhood of Mount Greenwood.  Chicago Tribune reports depict Taylor’s management contacted the family earlier in the day yesterday (Wednesday, April 29th), then followed a direct call from Taylor herself at about 5pm last night.  The phone call genuinely made 12-year old, Emily Beazley, and her family, extremely happy and extremely grateful for Taylor’s actions.

Following the phone call Emily’s mother, Nadia Beazley, took to Facebook to relay her feelings of immense gratitude and excitement: “I CANNOT thank all of you and your efforts that you are ALL making to reach Taylor Swift. Taylor called Emily Beazley! !!!!! She just got off the phone with her. She couldn’t have been nicer. Emily has a smile from ear to ear! !!!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you! !!!!”

In addition to the phone call, Emily and her family were offered a slough of concert tickets and the chance to meet Taylor at her Detroit performance on May 30th.  One person even offered to fly Emily and her family out to see Taylor in Las Vegas, however, Emily cannot fly due to her condition.  Emily’s mother explained that she is unfortunately not sure if Emily will be well enough to attend.

To gain the attention of local and national media, Emily and her family created a video with 200 hundred children dancing to Taylor Swift songs.  Immediately after learning about the situation, Taylor was there for Emily like she was a part of her own family.

The story of Emily and Taylor’s compassion for one another should inspire those to go to the limit to help people when they’re able to.  Taylor and Emily both should be honored for the courageousness qualities and never be forgotten.
