For roughly 25 years, the Virginia Key Grassroots Festival of Music & Dance has been providing a rare blend of music, culture, community, and the knowledge of healthy practices to live by. In addition to the announcement of a new venue in beautiful Miami, Florida, festival curators have also unveiled the schedule for Culture Camp 2016, occurring February 14-17, prior to the musical lineup that’s set to unfold February 18-21.
Culture Camp provides everything your mind and body need to prepare for Virginia Key Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance. From yoga classes that are instructed several times a day, to cooking demos you can enjoy with your family and friends, to music & dance workshops that provide numerous lessons on a wide variety of instruments, and, different themed dinners occurring each night to make sure you have all the nutrition your body needs to endure a 4-day festival, Culture Camp has it all.
As far as the music is concerned this year, there are over 50 bands ready to unleash their skills across four different stages. As it stands, the Virginia Key Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance lineup includes Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, The Wood Brothers, Donna the Buffalo, The Family Stone (of Sly and The Family Stone), Holy Ghost Tent Revival, School of Rock, and whole lot more.
