Time Warp’s heavily-anticipated return to New York City is finally upon us as the festival reveals a hard-hitting lineup.
Taking place on November 22 - 23, the two-day event will see the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Peggy Gou, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Joseph Capriati and more.
Chilean DJ Villalobos has an interesting history with playing in the United States, as he has toiled with boycotts of playing in the country throughout his career. This will be his first appearance on American soil in about five years.
Welcoming the older generations and the new, the event is a familial fusion of artists welcoming festival goers into the arms of house and techno legends.
Since its birth in 1995, Time Warp has since made its Mannheim home a top destination for underground dance music by evolving the festival experience through pristine curational and production skills. Attendees of the New York event are invited to immerse themselves in the blissful force of top tier sound systems and unparalleled lighting design and video projection.
The festival will maintain its industrious fashion as the event will be held at the New York Expo Center in The Bronx. Time Warp is not the only one celebrating its birthday, but as well as its New York counterpart Teksupport. The event promotion brand is in its fifth year of existence and has been transformative in cultivating a rich culture of house and techno in the big apple.
While tickets have been sold-out for awhile, more information on the event is available here.
