Oh Canada! Triple A Talent has launched in Vancouver Canada, with a fine roster of talent in electronic music. The agency is made up of seasoned industry professionals, who've joined forces to fill the niche in what seems to be absent in the Canadian market. We had a chat with founding parntner Severine Erickson to learn more about the agency.

We heard that Canada has a new booking agency, representing electronic music artists across the country. What is Triple A Talent offering their roster, and how is it filling a need in the market?

We feel like we offer artists on our roster a more hands-on approach that’s tailored to their individual outcome desires. Some artists prefer a different approach to their booking strategy, that falls in line with their personal lives and goals. We’ve seen how the market has grown, and we’ve seen the rise in popularity of electronic music. We’ve seen numerous peers in various capacities build successful careers through creative innovation.  Electronic music is celebrated all over the world. Where do you feel the Canadian electronic music industry is at, and how does it differentiate from the rest of the global scene? Our festival culture is what truly sets us apart from other places around the globe, and it’s where we’re really becoming industry leaders. Our festivals are considered to be among some of the best internationally and are praised for the breadth of programming and overall quality and safety. This has created a surge in interest for Canadian electronic music and increasing opportunities locally and abroad for more Canadian artists.

What do you want the music industry to know about Triple A Talent? What goals do you hope to achieve for 2020? We want the industry to know that we’re a positive force; we have a plan to grow our artist’s careers, as well as our company, ethically with care and respect. We plan to methodically enter different global markets with our partners in each region. We have mid-term ambitions to represent other forms of talent, including stage performers.
