Nestled in a beautiful mountain valley setting of Cottonwood Meadows in Buena Vista, Colorado, the inaugural event of Vertex festival, the past weekend of August 5th 2016, has just proven to be a huge success.  This comes as no surprise as Madison House Presents and AEG Live Rocky Mountains created the recipe for this delicious music smorgasbord.

Notoriously known for breathtaking views, laid back people, lots of sunshine and good vibes,  Buena Vista, Colorado seems a perfect fit for this new festival.  Over the three days running, over 8,000 people gathered to enjoy the amenities fit for only a festival goers dream.  Some relaxed on the beaches of Cottonwood Creek.  Some took to the trails to get a birds eye view.  There was a top notch Frisbee golf course, white water rafting and more!   Shuttles transported groups of adventurous fans to the town of Buena Vista, allowing them to explore the shops, restaurants and bars in the charming little town.

Jeremy Stein-President of Madison House Presents and Co-producer of Vertex along with AEG Live Rocky Mountains said of the event, “The inaugural Vertex was a source of Colorado pride, and the result was an unmatched celebration. This past weekend, we were left with an amazing sense of what is possible when many voices contribute to the creation of a new community.  Vertex has now taken its’ first baby steps, and we look forward to learning more together.  We thank the fine folks of Chaffee County and Buena Vista with all of our hearts.  We are all Coloradans, but we deeply respect your willingness to open your home to great possibilities.  Now we can all look toward the future with a smile, with imagination, and with the understanding that truly rare things are possible when we do it together. Cheers to the future.”
