To aid to your decision of who you can ‘t go wrong with at Reaction NYE 2015, below is a list of a handful of artists from each night of the Reaction NYE lineup of who to consider:
Wednesday, December 30th
deadmau5 (12AM – 1:30AM)– You may as well just plan on seeing this guy. Even if you’ve to witnessed the mouse-masked madman before, rumor has it: the famed producer has claimed once again this will be his last US performance.
Run The Jewels (12:30AM – 1:30AM) – Drag yourself away from the mau5-trap and see this hip-hop duo tear the mics up like no other. Kill Mike and EL-P are having one hell of a year in the limelight because of their unique take on hip-pop, paired with killer beats that everyone will get down to.
Bonobo (DJ Set) (9:55PM – 10:55PM) – Despite this is not one of Bonobo’s famed live sets, this producer knows his way around the tables and will surely please the masses.
Robin Schulz (9:20PM – 10:20PM) – Robin has been crushing it on a broad spectrum of music platforms this year. Whether you’re at a live music event or surfing the web in the hunt for new music, Robin’s name continues to surface; and for good reason: he’s crushing it.
Jamie Jones (8:55PM – 9:55PM) – This man is on fire in the always-growing house music scene. The last couple of years he’s had huge success and notoriety from his B2B (back to back) sessions with big names like Seth Troxler and has quickly become a must-see for the masses.
Thursday, December 31th
Get Real (11:45PM – 1:30AM) – Comprised of house music geniuses Green Velvet and boss of Dirtybird Records, Claude VonStroke, Get Real has quickly become one of the most sought-after acts to see live. The two masterminds have captivated audiences since they united early this year and they show no signs doing any differently while they’re performing together as one. Do yourself a favor and see Get Real!
Skrillex (12:00AM – 1:30AM) – Most people already know the business, but in case you’ve been living under a rock the last few years, make sure to go see Skrillex destroy his set. He’s one of the most influential producers in the game and his performances are works of art that paint a very LOUD picture for onlookers.
Chance The Rapper (10:55PM – 11:55PM) – One of Chicago’s finest rappers is onboard for your listening pleasure. His lyrics will move attendees emotionally, while his beats move them physically. Chance is sure to attract a crowd, so if you want to get a good look at his own the mic and the stage, plan on getting a spot early.
Cashmere Cat (10:45PM – 11:45PM) – This dude has raging the producing side of things in recent years. From taking gigs with Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, Arian Grande, and most recently, Kayne West, Cashmere Cat has had his producing paws all over tracks with A-list stars.
Purity Ring (9:15PM – 10:15PM) – This unique group of musicians is sure to appease the audience with not only their amazing sounds, but the visuals are sure to have people in awe. Their rare combination of artistic talents that captivate one’s ears and one’s eyes will not disappoint those who stop to take a look-see and listen.
