A mere 1200 music-lovers from across the country gathered in what is considered by some as the most remarkable music venue in the United States. Located in Arcosanti, Arizona, the music festival known as FORM Arcosanti, kicked off for its third consecutive year from May 13th -15th. The FORM Arcosanti lineup featured Skrillex, Four Tet, Bonobo, Hundred Waters, Thundercat, Ryan Hemsworth, Dan Deacon, Moses Sumney, Mija, Tortoise and many more.
In addition to the musical lineup at FORM 2016, Arcosanti welcomed an array of other gifted artists. Alexa Meade, an artist who specializes in combining body painting and photography, also demonstrated her talents for the small group of festival-goers when she painted a woman from head to toe. No matter what type of talents flourished throughout the extraordinary venue, those demonstrating their crafts inspired others to create their own forms of art all weekend long. Music Festival Central photographer, Daniel Peterson, traveled to the rare venue founded by Frank Lloyd Rite's student, Paolo Soleri, with videographer, Nick Blaising, to document the melting pot of creativity.
