Shambhala 2016 Photos - Nelson, British Columbia, CA

From what started as a birthday party for a Canadian resident of a small town called Nelson in British Columbia, Shambhala Music Festival, has grown to become one of the most notorious electronic music festivals in the world.  This past August 5th – 8th, Shambhala celebrated its 19th year in a row, bringing together old roots with new cultures and traditions within today’s festival scene.   Artists featured in the Shambhala 2016 lineup included Andy C. & Armanni Reign, Justin Martin, Beats Antique feat. David Satori & Tommy Sidecar, Marshmello, Liquid Stranger, OPIUO, Stickybuds, Troyboi, The Gaslamp Killer, Autograf, Truth, The Widdler, Emancipator, REZZ, Mija, Sub Focus, GrandTheft, Nightmares On Wax, Manic Focus, Marvel Years Longwalk Shortstock, Green Velvet, Getter, What So Not, Destructo, Rich-E-Rich and many, many more.   Music Festival Central photographer, Daniel Peterson, was in the field for the long haul to document the Canadian magic as it occurred inside the Salmo River Ranch during Shambhala.
